The Forest

I am a forest of endless possibilities,
try to tear me down and you will fail.
To find the essence of by being,
you must travel to my center.
My heart.
Be warned, it is a journey of patience,
a quest for knowledge, and a test of honor.
There are no paths to follow.
You must choose your own way
and set your own pace.
I determine whether you continue.
Many have tried and failed.
Try to cut me down, and I grow stronger.
Try to burn me, and I grow thicker.
If you are the one, and you succeed,
you will find friendship and love,
and the forest will flourish.
You will find shelter and strength,
and the forest will protect you.
You will find warmth and light,
and I will embrace you.
